Robert Conn

Induction Award

Robert "Rob" Conn is an exceptional multi-sport athlete and defensive hockey anchor who represents the very best of Elmvale’s minor and junior hockey legacy. Renowned for his supreme determination, work ethic, and versatile tactical brilliance, Rob powered the Elmvale Minor Hockey Association to three OMHA Championship titles across his Atom and Bantam years, routinely leading his teams in scoring while capturing elite individual honors like the Silver Stick Best Defensive Bantam Player award. Making the massive leap to Junior B hockey as a 16-year-old, he became a premier two-way threat, a power-play quarterback, and the Assistant Captain for the Barrie Colts. Rob's leadership, intelligence, and integrity seamlessly transitioned from the arena to public service, where he continues to serve the province and his community as a Detective Sergeant with the Ontario Provincial Police.
