Robert Conn Highlights

  • 1977: Began his competitive hockey journey in Novice C with the Elmvale Minor Hockey Association.
  • 1977–89: Anchored successive Elmvale Representative travel teams through his formative minor hockey years.
  • 1987 & 1988: Led the Elmvale Bantams during dominant playoff runs to capture two OMHA Championships.
  • 1988: Recognized by scouts as one of the brightest junior prospects in Simcoe County during his Bantam year.
  • 1988: Made the jump as a 16-year-old to play against 20-year-old veterans for the Barrie Colts in the OHA Provincial Junior B League.
  • 1988–91: Played three stellar standout seasons for the Barrie Colts.
  • 1990–91: Named Assistant Captain of the Barrie Colts, served as a leader and mentor to younger team members.
