Robert Conn Highlights


  • 1977: Began his competitive hockey journey in Novice C with the Elmvale Minor Hockey Association.
  • 1977–89: Anchored successive Elmvale Representative travel teams through his formative minor hockey years.
  • 1988: Recognized by scouts as one of the brightest junior prospects in Simcoe County during his Bantam year.
  • 1988–89: Led the Elmvale Bantams in total points during a dominant playoff run to capture the OMHA Championship title.
  • 1989: Made the jump as a 16-year-old to play against 20-year-old veterans for the Barrie Colts in the OHA Provincial Junior B League.
  • 1989–91: Played two stellar standout seasons for the Barrie Colts, culminating in an invitation to play NCAA hockey for St. Lawrence University.
  • 1990–91: Named Assistant Captain of the Barrie Colts, serving as a primary offensive threat and anchoring the blue line on the power play.
