Matthew Beleskey

Matt Beleskey is an elite professional hockey player who represents the pinnacle of hockey achievement to come out of Springwater Township. Renowned as a quintessential NHL power forward, Matt combined fierce physical play with elite offensive production over a prolific 477-game National Hockey League career skating for the Anaheim Ducks, Boston Bruins, and New York Rangers. A natural leader, he captained the Belleville Bulls to the 2008 OHL Finals and went on to become a high-stakes playoff hero in the NHL, famously scoring 8 clutch goals during the Ducks' historic 2015 run to the Western Conference Finals. Following his retirement from professional play, Matt returned home to Springwater to establish Key Athletic Performance, channelling his extensive elite experience into mentoring, training, and inspiring the next generation of local youth athletes.
