Springwater Sports Heritage sadly shares the passing of Inductee Andy Copeland. Andy was an outstanding hockey player and friend of many. He was an enthusiastic athlete and in addition to playing hockey he passionately pursued his keenness of golf and skiing. He was always a team favorite on and off the ice. Andy loved to play hockey and only retired from the sport recently. His teammates will remember him as a thoughtful team member and always a pleasure to play with. Although his physical stature was small, he played well beyond his size. As a talented athlete his skates and stick created magic on the ice while still providing the coveted balance of being an exceptional teammate. Off the ice, be it in the dressing room or beyond, Andy’s antics and personality shone brightly and often. His lengthy list of distinct colleagues and friends will truly miss him and the joy he tirelessly and fervently shared. Springwater Sports Heritage is honoured to have Andy in its Hall of Fame.
