In 1973, a historical committee of four Elmvale senior citizens (W H. Archer, Mesdames Jessie Beardsall, Pearl Beardsall, and Jessie Thompson) was formed for the purpose of compiling a HISTORY OF THE VILLAGE OF ELMVALE.  Springwater Sports Heritage has extracted and assembled a HISTORY OF ELMVALE SKATING RINKS from their material.
