William (Bill) passed away at Hospice Simcoe on December 8, 2020 in his 74th year
2014 Inductee - 1964-65 Alex Currie Pontiac Juvenile Hockey Championship Team
Springwater Sports Heritage once again recognizes and morns the lost of one of its cherished Inductees. Bill’s athletic ability and infectious personality ensured he was well known and recognized throughout Springwater and beyond. Always a team’s teammate. Bill was highly respected for his outstanding hockey skills and off-ice comradeship. In addition to being a significant force in helping his 64/65 Juvenile Hockey Team win a Provincial Championship he went on to substantially contribute numerous times to Oldtimers Championships Teams both locally and Internationally. Bill we be missed by his many supportive teammates and those throughout the community that enjoyed his company and love of a good time. Springwater Sports Heritage is proud to have Bill as one of its supportive and memorable Inductees.
