1974 & 1975 Minesing Fastball Teams Narrative

The players and coaches were all residents of what is now Springwater Township.  There were a large number of teams competing across the province in the 1970’s. The Minesing team came from a farming community and the families of many of the players had a busy summer and fall schedule but were able to get the boys to all of the games which would have been a fair amount of travel throughout the province. The 1974 team tell a story of being made fun of for their lack of uniforms but that did not stop their success.
