Julieanne White Narrative

This world-class athlete has an outstanding resume that includes being an Ironman Triathlon World Series champion and winning titles at both Ironman Canada and Ironman New Zealand, as well as taking second place at the World Ironman Championships in Hawaii. She has been a two-time winner of both the Big Sur Marathon and the Orange County Half-Marathon, as well as winning the bronze medal at the World Duathlon Championships in Switzerland. Julianne has achieved these remarkable results despite having to contend with asthma and crohn's/colitis. She educated herself on these issues and through diet and integrative medicine she was able to continue her athletic pursuits, as well as form an organisation dedicated to educating and supporting others. Not only has she coached fellow athletes and assisted others suffering with intestinal disease and asthma, but her 'spare' time has been taken up with caring for retired greyhounds and being an equine therapist/technician. Despite the curve balls that life has thrown her, Julianne continues to inspire others and clearly demonstrates an attitude of gratitude by being a true humanitarian." By Steve King
