Introduction
Corby was born in the community of Minesing and resided there his entire life. His impressive sporting journey is of legendary status, with credentials that undoubtedly establish him as one of—if not the—greatest athletes in Springwater's sporting history.
His prestigious accomplishments were achieved in fastball and hockey, primarily in the Barrie area, yet recognized provincially, nationally, and internationally. Corby’s exceptional talent resulted in his induction into four Halls of Fame: Barrie, Clarkson University, Vespra Recreation, and Springwater. While all were special to him, Corby stated that his Springwater induction was the most valued.
