Elmer McFadden

Induction Award:

Elmer McFadden has made an outstanding voluntary contribution to the development of hockey for the youth of the province of Ontario. He initiated House Leagues in areas where he worked and co-formed the Woodbridge Minor Hockey Association.  Over the years, Elmer worked tirelessly as a convener to organize and oversee schedules, rules, referees and tournaments.  Sixteen years were spent as an Executive member and two years as President of the OMHA.  On occasions, Elmer acted as a liaison accompanying rep teams on their international tournament tours. In recognition of his contribution, Elmer was elected as a Life Member of the OMHA: the largest Minor Hockey Association in the World.
