Narrative:

Ryan grew up within an active family lifestyle, and was introduced to swimming and cross country skiing at a very early age.  He balanced competitive swimming and skiing until he was 16.  At that time, Ryan chose to concentrate on skiing.  Since then he has had the opportunity to travel across North America and Europe to compete.  Ryan has represented Canada twice at the World Juniors.  Ryan currently resides in Norway ( the epicenter of cross country skiing) training and racing there.  Ryan's focus currently is learning and working as hard as possible to make the jump from Junior to U23 on to the World Cup Level.

Climbing mountains, exploring, travelling, and Netflix
